Learn more about Project SEARCH, a unique, business led nine-month internship program for young adults with significant disabilities . The program will be run by UCP of Eastern CT at the host business site partner, Mohegan Sun.

This program is a pilot program of the CT Department of Developmental Services in it's efforts to promote CT's Employment First policy and provide more opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to find, get and keep community-based, competitive employment.

Project Search is an opportunity for students in their final year of school as well as for young adults who receive DDS funding for employment services, to gain valuable marketable, transferable skills with the goal of obtaining competitive employment after the conclusion of the internship.

Following a presentation from UCP staff members, representatives from DDS will be on hand to answer your questions.
